🚀 Simple 4-Step Installation

Download & Extract

Download **`QuickPrint_Agent_Windows.zip`** from our downloads page and extract (unzip) it to a safe local directory [1].

Recommended: D:\QuickPrint_Agent or Documents folder [1].

Initialize & Map Shop ID [2]

Launch `quickprint-agent.exe` [2]. A terminal window will open and automatically prompt you to type your 24-character Shop ID [2]. Paste it, press Enter, and close the terminal.

Example ID: 6a43e33d239b5e4bf383dadc

Enable Auto-Start [2]

Double-click **`Enable_Auto_Start.bat`** just once [2]. This automatically registers your agent to start silently in the background every time Windows boots up [2].

Registry: HKCU\Run\quickprint-agent registered [2].

Launch Silently

Double-click **`Start_Agent.vbs`** [2]. The agent starts running instantly in 100% hidden background mode. Your printer is now fully connected!

● Kiosk is active. Check your dashboard, status is now ONLINE!

⚙️ Advanced: Managing Your Background Agent

Because the agent runs invisibly, you cannot close it from the taskbar. Follow these simple rules to manage it:

How to Stop: To temporarily stop the agent (e.g., to replace paper or ink), double-click `Stop_Agent.bat`. It will securely kill the background process.
Windows Registry: The auto-start script uses Windows Script Host (wscript.exe) under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, ensuring zero system-privilege warnings on boot [2].
Re-registering: If you ever need to change your Shop ID, delete the .env file in your folder, run quickprint-agent.exe, and type the new ID.
